When recent storms flooded and closed Windsor – Essex area golf courses, we were pleased to welcome golfers to play indoors (and it’s HALF PRICE all summer long!).

This group from Lenco Welding Accessories had their company golf tournament cancelled due to course conditions and we were thrilled to have them play indoors at Silver Tee.

We are happy to now have our Virtual Gaming Centre OPEN for indoor golf and virtual games and sports weekends from 12pm until 8pm, and other times by reservation only. Please call: 519-966-4911 to book your time.

All indoor golf is HALF PRICE all summer long!

For our patio, driving range and mini-golf, no reservations are required. We have lots of spots on our driving range and a large, spacious mini-golf course, patio and other seating areas, all available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Yes! We are fully licensed, so those of legal drinking age can enjoy an adult beverage while on our property.

If you’re looking to play some indoor golf (with our amazing new technology!), here is some advice to help you get swinging at Silver Tee!

  • Reservations are required, please call: 519-966-4911
  • In your email to us, please include your first and last name, your phone number, the number of people in your group as well as if you want to play 9 or 18 holes.
  • Please speak with your group and provide us with a few different tee time options so that we can best accommodate your group. You will need to hear back from us to confirm your reservation.
  • We are really booked up on afternoons & weekends, it’s easier to get in during the morning and daytime hours (10am until about 4pm), and late evening hours (8pm until 10pm)

Everything You Need to Know About Our Red Zone Reopening

First of all, we’d like to thank all our amazing customers for their continued support, calls, texts, messages and emails. We can’t wait to welcome you all back!

Here is EVERYTHING you need to know about our reopening!

  • We will be open on Tuesday, February 16th at 10am.
  • Our ongoing hours will be 10am until 10pm, 7 days a week.
  • Reservations are absolutely required. Due to our extremely high call volume, the only way to make a reservation at this time is by emailing: silverteegolf@gmail.com – Please speak with your group and provide us with a few different tee time options so that we can best accommodate your group.  You will need to hear back from us to confirm your reservation.
  • To ensure we are following proper Red Zone protocols, we have had the Health Unit in for an inspection.
  • We are allowed 10 customers inside our Virtual Gaming Centre, at any given time, for indoor golf and/or virtual games and sports.
  • In the party room simulators, we are allowed groups of 5 on each of the two party rooms.
  • On our other simulators, we are allowed groups of 4 on each.
  • We are able to safely serve food and beverage, but due to demand, we may not be able to offer all items initially. Last call is at 9pm, as directed by our local Health Unit.
  • Sadly, at this time, we ask that you do not arrive early as we are not able to welcome you to the bar for a pre-round cocktail.
  • When you arrive at your scheduled time, a mask or face covering must be worn to enter the building. Once we have set you up on your simulator, you are welcomed to remove it. If you need to move about the building, you will be required to again wear a mask or face covering.
  • Because our Red Zone status may change quickly, the Health Unit has recommended that we only take reservations for the week ahead.
  • YES! Half-priced nights are on Sunday and Mondays, starting at 5pm.
  • If you were a Fall or Winter Indoor Golf League player, beginning on Tuesday, we will be issuing refunds. An email will be sent with further details.

This has been a tough time for us all, and we CAN’T WAIT to safely welcome you all back. We are so excited to share our amazing software updates and other upgrades such as new carpeting, and spiffed up building!

This week we’re off to Sea Island, Georgia, to visit one of its many PGA Tour stop courses.

The Seaside Course at Sea Island Resort is home to the RSM Classic, and is a must-play for any golfer.

Play in the tradition of the legendary Scottish links style, surrounded by tidal creeks, dunes, salt marshes, and the Atlantic Ocean.

A “Monster” of a Course

Located in Akron, Ohio, our featured course this week is the South Course at Firestone Country Club. Originally opened in 1929, the course was redesigned by Robert Trent Jones in preparation for the 1960 PGA Championship.

Some still refer to this course fondly as “The Monster”, after Arnold Palmer commented after scoring a triple-bogey on the 16th hole.

Tips: Hit it long and straight. Be mindful of the landing zones – lots of bunkers and some water to make this tract interesting and challenging for golfers of all skill levels.

We are thrilled to announce that we’ve partnered with Full Swing Golf to give our customers the ultimate indoor golf experience.

What this means to our indoor golfers:

  • Improved club head analysis: New high-speed camera system provides HD playback of clubhead while providing unparalleled analysis and accuracy.
  • Infrared ball flight tracking: As the ball crosses the two infrared tracks, ball speed, launch angle and direction are measured instantly.
  • Most realistic ball flight: No other simulation technology or indoor launch monitor can measure these ball flight characteristics more accurately or rapidly.
